Ancient museum in a historic wine estate of the Mâconnais region

This splendid house of typical Mâconnais style conceals a well-kept secret: an ancient vat cellar converted into a winegrowing museum!

It exhibits over 2,000 tools that were used in wine-related professions in South Burgundy during the early 20th century (by carpenters, winegrowers, blacksmiths, coopers, etc.).

After your visit, it's time for a guided tour in the vinification cellar followed by a tasting of the wines produced here in a superb tasting cellar with a vaulted ceiling.

If you fancy it, you can prolong the experience with a beautiful walk through the vineyards around the estate, which will also give children a chance to let off steam!

Here you'll listen, feel, share, taste and - the highlight of the tour - visit the aroma cellar for the magical experience of sniffing a whole multitude of aromas found in white wines from Pouilly-sur-Loire, all wafting from a succession of fat wine-tasting glasses.

In summer, a host of activities are on offer to enhance your exploration of this Loire terroir: exhibitions, vineyard walks in the company of a passionate winegrower, or Ciné Vignes for film and wine enthusiasts...
