You can't go wrong, if the cranes take flight, autumn is just around the corner!
The sun sets on the banks of the Loire and Allier rivers and wakes up to the songs of the grey cranes. The Nièvre department has become a favourite wintering stopover for cranes. Coming from Norway and Sweden, several hundred birds are stationed near the Loire and the Allier. In a winter atmosphere, we propose to observe these birds in the alluvial meadows, to learn to distinguish the young from the adults.
