Visit a 12th century abbey which has retained all its authentic charm. The Cistercian abbey, Notre-Dame de Quincy near Tanlay, in a small and secluded valley in the Tonnerrois region, is surprisingly well - and impressively - conserved. You can stroll around the guest quarters, a section of the 12th and 15th century cloisters and the Renaissance-style abbot’s residence. At the end of your journey, remember to take back some monastic produce as a souvenir.
