Notre-Dame Church dominates Auxonne centre with its oxagonal twisted bell tower, restored during the 19th century. However, most of the church was painstakingly constructed between the 13th and 16th centuries in Gothic style. Worthy of note also are the impressive gargoyles and statues decorating the façade. Once inside, be sure not to miss the Vierge aux Raisins (Virgin Mary with grapes), a 15th century Burgundy work of art, and the organs.
