In the middle ages, Noyers-sur-Serein castle was one of the most powerful castles in Burgundy. The vestiges of this edifice, which was destroyed in 1599, are currently being rehabilitated. You can already use a specially set up path to admire architectural elements from that period as well as typical local vegetation. Occasionally, you may even be so lucky as to see stone carvers at work.
